High Density Storage for Big Data
Evolving from previous Wiwynn storage/Storage server, the newest storage platform ST7000G2/SV7000G2 Series is built with the concept of providing more storage capacity and density. With an impressive storage capacity of 72 3.5” hard drives (12Gb SAS/6Gb SATA) in a 4U chassis, Wiwynn ST7000G2 stands out from other storage systems as having the highest storage density in the industry.
Diversified Configuration for Various Usages
ST7000G2 is a disaggregated storage that provides powerful storage capability with easy scalability compared with other storage platforms. Alternatively, ST7000G2 can be converted to a storage server (SV7000G2) by integrating with Intel® Xeon® Broadwell-DE processors. For certain workloads, such as web and storage, a single-socket architecture is more efficient and has higher performance per watt.
Tool-less Design for Easy Maintenance
ST7000G2/SV7000G2 Series is quick and simple to service thanks to a tool-less design. All drives in the system are contained with latches. One of the most unique aspects of the design is the tool-less drive retention system that doesn’t require any carriers. For removal, the latch assists the user by pulling the drive partially out of the system for easier handling.
Redundant Cooling for High Availability
Wiwynn ST7000G2/SV7000G2 Series supports high availability with hot-pluggable fans and redundant cooling system.
