Continuous improvements in brand management will enhance trademark value.
Special Feature First Intellectual Property Innovation Awards
On March 8, 2024, Wiwynn held the inaugural Intellectual Property Innovation Awards ceremony, presenting a total of six awards. These awards included the Newcomer of the Year, Trade Secret Innovation Registration Pioneer, Software Licensing Milestone, Proposal King of the Year, Best Proposal of the Year, and the Special Award for Women Inventors.
At this ceremony, we recognized the outstanding performance of 142 colleagues.
The awards were established to inspire employees to innovate and to foster a culture of respect for intellectual property rights. The awards ceremony acknowledged the hard work of our employees and demonstrated the company's commitment to innovation and intellectual property. We will continue to create an environment that encourages progress and innovation, promoting sustainable development.
Responsible Products
We are dedicated to upholding a Raw Material Responsibility Policy. By implementing responsible sourcing and utilization practices, we are committed to minimizing environmental and social impacts, safeguarding human rights, advancing the circular economy, and ensuring compliance with international sustainability standards.
Hazardous Substance Control
Wiwynn integrates sustainable innovation into the entire product lifecycle, from design to recycling, aiming to minimize environmental impact and energy consumption. The company complies with international environmental regulations and customer requirements, offering safe, low-hazard, recyclable, and energy-efficient green products, striving for ecological balance.
We have established hazardous substance management procedures for products, batteries, and packaging, implementing GPM and PLM systems to manage supplier materials. Through IECQ QC080000 certification, we continuously evaluate the effectiveness of our management mechanisms to ensure 100% compliance with international regulations and customer requirements. In 2023, there were no complaints regarding violations of hazardous substance bans or customer requirements.
Product Safety and Service
Focus on Customer Feedback and Information Security Protection
From the early stages of product development and design, Wiwynn actively discusses product operation modes and usage scenarios with customers. After each trial production, customer feedback is discussed internally, and design is optimized accordingly. Customer feedback is continuously tracked in new product versions, integrating relevant safety designs into products from the very beginning.
Wiwynn customizes product development and design according to customer requirements in hardware, software, or firmware, providing product security protection mechanisms.
In Terms of Hardware Design
TPM2.0 (Trusted Platform Module, TPM) is an international standard for secure cryptoprocessors. It reduces the risk associated with hackers attempting to capture sensitive data and the risks associated with encryption keys.
In Terms of Firmware Design
Security Boot ensures that only trusted software is launched on the device, thereby preventing unauthorized modifications or malicious manipulation.
Product Safety Regulatory Verification Mechanism and Material Due Diligence
Ensuring the provision of non-toxic, safe products to ensure customers have no concerns about product use. Committed to delivering products on time and providing immediate services to ensure quality usage.
The regulatory label on the product allows customers to easily understand all the relevant certifications the product has passed, such as UL certification, CE marking, FCC certification, etc.
Optimized Structural Design, Tool-less
Our goal is to create structures that are easy to repair, simple to operate, labor-saving, foolproof, and safe.
We provide customers with products that are easy to operate and maintain, saving on repair time and preventing mishandling that could cause damage. For instance, maintenance components are designed as pull-out drawers with labor-saving handles, ensuring user convenience and safety. Additionally, we aim to reduce repair time by replacing traditional screws with quick-release clips, alleviating the risk of occupational injuries from prolonged work. Each product includes a comprehensive user manual to ensure proper and safe operation.

Product Material Selection and Application
Use of recycled materials reduced 4,990,336 kg CO₂e
At the product design stage, green design guidelines were adopted under the ISO 9001 framework to increase the use of recycled materials.
2024 Achievements:
1. Over 11% recycled steel was used in new product enclosures, estimated to reduce 3,472,738 kg CO₂e compared to virgin materials.
2. Over 50% recycled plastics were adopted, estimated to reduce 1,246,435 kg CO₂e compared to virgin plastics.
3. All packaging adopted recycled EPE (Expandable Polyethylene) or de-plasticized designs. Using recycled EPE is estimated to reduce 271,163 kg CO₂e, and other de-plasticized designs reduce 260,245 kg CO₂e.Category

Product Lifecycle Management
Energy-saving and Carbon-reducing Product Design
Memory Recycling and Reuse, Reducing 158,111 kg of CO2e
At the end of the lifecycle of server products, reusable memory modules are recycled and reused, avoiding the carbon emissions from manufacturing new memory. In 2023, this is estimated to reduce approximately 158,111 kg of CO2e.
Product Design Meets 3R Requirements: Reuse 80% | Recycled Rate 80% | Recovery Rate 85%
We comply with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE), designing products for easy disassembly, recycling, and environmental friendliness. From 2020, all developed products have been 100% evaluated and verified according to the WEEE-3R process, meeting the 3R requirements (Reuse and Recycled rate=80%, Recovery rate=85%). Products are marked with the WEEE recycling label to prevent improper disposal of electronic waste.
