Socorro, Texas, September 14, 2026 – Wiwynn, a cloud data center IT infrastructure provider, today held the grand opening ceremony for its advanced manufacturing facility in Texas, marking another significant addition to its global manufacturing footprint. Located in Socorro, El Paso, Texas, the facility will further enhance Wiwynn’s local manufacturing and delivery capabilities in North America. It will also connect the company’s manufacturing resources across Asia, the America, and Europe, enhancing the flexibility and resilience of its global supply chain, and supporting surging demand for AI and cloud infrastructure.

The ceremony brought together officials from state, county, and city governments, Director General Yvonne Hsiao of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Houston, as well as representatives from major leading cloud service providers (CSP), including Amazon and Microsoft. Together, they witnessed an important milestone in Wiwynn’s expansion of its U.S. manufacturing presence.

The Texas facility not only addresses the rapidly growing demand for AI and cloud services but also opens a new chapter in Wiwynn’s global manufacturing strategy. As a global leader in cloud IT infrastructure, Wiwynn continues to invest in technology innovation and manufacturing excellence. The Texas facility is equipped with state-of-the-art server manufacturing and rack integration technologies, offering complete production and testing capabilities for both air cooled and liquid-cooled racks. The facility also advances automation in manufacturing and logistics to ensure production efficiency and consistency. These capabilities not only meet customers' expectations for local production and high quality but also reinforce the flexibility and resilience of Wiwynn's global supply chain.

Wiwynn has invested more than US$1.6 billion in the Texas facility. The first building, spanning about 393,000 square feet, kicked off in 2025 and began shipments by the end of that year, now entering mass production, demonstrating Wiwynn's swift execution in establishing U.S.-based manufacturing and delivery capabilities. The second building, spanning approximately 476,000 square feet, is expected to begin production in the second quarter of 2027. The overall campus plan, including existing buildings and future expansions, is expected to exceed 1.7 million square feet in total building area over the long term.

"The opening of our Texas facility marks an important extension of Wiwynn's global manufacturing footprint and a key step in strengthening our supply chain resilience," said Emily Hong, Chair and Chief Strategy Officer of Wiwynn. "This site will provide advanced production capacity for server racks, becoming a vital hub for Wiwynn's AI and cloud infrastructure business in the United States. We will continue working closely with our global partners to respond swiftly to fast-growing demand, as we embrace the next phase of growth in AI infrastructure together."

"This facility is the result of an extraordinary relationship between Amazon and Wiwynn," said Tyler Doornenbal, Vice President, Amazon Annapurna Labs. "We look forward to the expanded capabilities this new facility brings to Socorro, Texas, and to continue building the future of AI infrastructure together."

Looking ahead, Wiwynn will continue to advance its capabilities in smart manufacturing, automation, and rack-level system integration, while strengthening its global manufacturing and service network. Working tightly with customers and supply chain partners, Wiwynn remains committed to supporting the long-term development of AI and cloud infrastructure.
