Social Engagement

Wiwynn actively contributes to society through its core operations, implementing four strategic pillars to fulfill its corporate citizenship role. Collaborating with schools, underprivileged groups, and communities, Wiwynn promotes social development while advancing sustainability initiatives to amplify its impact on sustainable innovation.

Social Investment

In 2024, Wiwynn Corporation invested NT$29.52 million in social engagement, covering a wide range of initiatives such as charitable activities and donations, industry-academia collaboration projects, internship and talent development programs, the Wiwynn Foundation, employee welfare committee activities, as well as employee-led participation in corporate-driven social initiatives. We actively build long-term partnerships with non-profit organizations, setting mid- and long-term goals and action strategies. In 2024, Wiwynn officially introduced a “Volunteer Leave Program” to encourage employees to participate in community service. Moving forward, the Wiwynn Foundation will further expand diverse volunteer activities, aiming to maximize the impact of corporate volunteering power in advancing environmental protection, social responsibility, and sustainable development. We believe that continuous and systematic commitment is the key to driving positive change for both society and the environment. It also represents an essential step in fulfilling corporate social responsibility. Wiwynn will continue to amplify its influence and realize a vision of harmony between people, society, and the environment.

Wiwynn Internship Program Enters 6th Year, Strengthening Talent Development Impact

Since launching its internship program, Wiwynn has reached its sixth year by 2024, receiving strong recognition from both academia and industry. Upholding its commitment to diverse talent development and the core value of “collaboration,” the 2024 program spans departments including thermal R&D, patents, legal, ESG sustainability, MRO procurement, PSM, SCP supply chain planning, and AM sales—demonstrating both depth and breadth of interdisciplinary learning.
Each intern is guided by a professional mentor and gains hands-on experience through practical participation, cross-functional project collaboration, and internal operations observation—enhancing workplace readiness and problem-solving skills. This year’s program also introduced AI deep learning models, enabling interns to train computers for automated data interpretation, directly applied in departmental tasks to improve accuracy and efficiency while significantly reducing manual workload.
Beyond technical training, the program features diverse learning activities such as LinkedIn branding workshops, core competency courses, and server industry tours to broaden interns’ career perspectives and industry understanding, enhancing the overall training value.
Wiwynn will continue promoting high-quality internship programs, actively cultivating promising young talent and supporting their transition into the workforce—injecting fresh energy into the industry while contributing to sustainable and stable talent development in society.

Promoting Cultural Sustainability Through Family-Friendly Traditional Arts Experience

In line with its commitment to cultural sustainability, Wiwynn hosted the “Contemporary Legend Theatre Family Aesthetic Experience Day,” inviting employees and their families to explore the beauty of traditional opera. Collaborating with the Contemporary Legend Theatre—renowned for blending classical Peking Opera with modern theatrical aesthetics—the event aimed to revitalize traditional art forms and enhance their cultural significance and global visibility.
The event featured a wide range of activities engaging participants through visual, physical, and cultural experiences. These included face painting, dance workshops, and a performance of *Open Dragon Palace*, offering an enriching and entertaining introduction to traditional opera. Through interactive and educational activities, Wiwynn hopes to deepen employees' and their families' appreciation of Taiwan’s traditional performing arts and jointly promote cultural preservation and creative inheritance. More than just an artistic celebration, it was a meaningful journey of cultural education and family connection.

Spreading Love and Fulfilling Wishes — Wiwynn’s Christmas Wish Adoption Campaign

At the end of 2024, Wiwynn partnered with five charitable organizations—World Vision (Taipei and Banqiao Centers), Taipei Children's Welfare Center, Huaxing Orphanage, Ti-Hwei Orphanage, and Chung Yi Social Welfare Foundation—to host the heartwarming “Christmas Wish Adoption Campaign.” Employees were invited to become Santa Claus and help children fulfill their Christmas wishes.
Before the event, children wrote their own wish cards—simple, sincere desires like school supplies or eating utensils. While not extravagant, each wish carried deep hope. Wiwynn employees responded with enthusiasm: all 189 wish cards were adopted in less than two days. Many even went above and beyond, upgrading their gifts to ensure the children received not just presents, but heartfelt care and warm blessings.
At the event, the smiles on the children’s faces as they received their gifts were the most genuine form of gratitude. This initiative not only spread holiday joy and compassion but also embodied Wiwynn’s long-standing commitment to supporting underprivileged communities and giving back to society.

Healing Through Nature: Green Technology Powers a New Model for Corporate Wellbeing

In collaboration with National Taipei University of Education, the Wiwynn Sustainability Foundation launched a series of green technology-based corporate wellness programs. These initiatives integrate nature-based care methods such as forest therapy and adventure therapy with corporate sustainability goals, promoting mental and physical well-being through interaction with the natural environment to create a holistic and sustainable employee wellness model.
Two main themes—forest healing and adventure therapy—were carried out using a portable salivary amylase monitor, which converts salivary enzyme activity into measurable stress indicators. This allowed for scientific assessment of the effects nature-based activities had on employee stress levels.
In terms of impact: forest therapy showed significant improvements in emotional well-being and psychological health, especially in stress management. Adventure therapy, on the other hand, demonstrated greater effects on physiological stress indicators while also boosting employee confidence and team cohesion through group interaction and personal challenges.

In 2025, to build a complete coral reef ecosystem, we will use regenerated multi-textured materials developed by the Metal Industries Research & Development Centre to create stable attachment substrates that support coral growth and attract diverse marine life. Long-term monitoring and impact assessments will also be conducted to enhance the ecological functions and biodiversity value of the artificial reefs, bringing new hope to Taiwan’s marine sustainability efforts.
