Optimized System Architecture for GPU Servers
Wiwynn SV500G3 system is a 19” 4U GPU server with eight dual-width 300 watt GPUs for deep learning. The integration of the latest NVIDIA Volta V100 GPUs ensures the highest performance deep learning workload, and delivers incredible performance for massively parallel workloads that benefit from extremely fast GPU processing.
Enhanced Performance and Memory
Compared with prior-gen processors, SV500G3 features Intel® 2nd Generation which provides pervasive performance enhancement including higher per-core performance and CPU frequency. For memory enhancement, it increases memory speed and capacity, supporting up to 2933MHz memory speed and 16Gb-based DDR4 DIMMs. Wiwynn SV500G3 is designed with 24 DIMM slots, with 16Gb-based DDR4 DIMMs support, gets double system memory capacity up to 6TB.
Flexible PCIe Topology for Various Training Models
SV500G3 comes with two PCIe topologies. It can be flexibly configured to cascade mode or balance mode for CPU to GPU connection. Different topologies suits different training models.
Enhanced Thermal Efficiency for Best Performance
The breakthrough design of isolated cooling air channels is adopted in server board, GPU subsystem, and power supply units of Wiwynn SV500G3. The architecture sets the deep learning performance benefits free from thermal barriers under eight high power computing accelerators. Cooling efficiency is optimized with well managed air flow and excellent CFM per wattage. SV500G3 is also able to operate at higher ambient temperature for better PUE.
Front Access Design to Simplify Maintenance
Compared to traditional GPU servers, the system is front-accessible with tool-less maintenance. Rack cabling and maintenance efforts are reduced to a minimum, enabling our customers to focus more on rack configuration and deployment scalability. The server board leverages OCP Project Olympus server board which had been massively used and verified in hyper-scale data centers, that guarantees availability.
